The Baby Pool

Noah now owns his own baby pool. We got it on Thursday and he went swimming that night and Friday afternoon. He has such a blast with his toys in the "big bathtub"! Well he likes swimming for a little while and then he just climbs right on out. Apparently, he would rather be in the hot grass than in the cool water!

Noah now says his first word (besides dada). He waves his hand and says "bye bye"! In the video he is only waving because he only talks when he wants to! We are looking forward to many more words to come!

Noah had his first swim today in the "big pool" at the Seminary. He loved it just like he loves his baths! What a cutie!

Noah really liked standing in the small pool. He kept dipping his face into the water!

Water Day

Noah attends an Early Learning Center at University Baptist Church two days a week. Every Thursday during the summer is Water Day! He loves it just like he loves his bath!
Look how cute he is all decked out in his swim trunks!

The Busyness of Noah

Sad news- Noah no longer likes to be held :( I beg for affection and he just climbs down from my lap. There were days that I wanted this, but now I change my mind! He has been so busy lately. I can't keep up with this wild man!

This is one of Noah's favorite past times (besides flushing the toilet). He loves to knock down the whole basket of plastic utensils and then bang them together. Maybe he'll help me cook some day!
This picture was taken in the playroom at Cook Children's right before his surgery. He enjoyed playing with all the toys, but in this picture he is just staring at the ball in Uncle Landon's hands. I just love the look on his face!
One good thing about his surgery is that it made him crawl on his knees. He no longer drags himself across the floor! He is much faster this way!
This was taken at the indoor playground at the mall. I just love how he is lounged back, taking a little break as he makes his way through the tunnel!

The Whole (Mitchell) Family

The last time we went home we were able to go to church as a whole family! Uncle Jake and Pops were both off, so we all loaded up and attended church together. It is not real often that we are all together at any time- especially a Sunday! This Sunday was very special because we were celebrating Mother's Day!

Grammie and Pops; Uncle Jake, Aunt Kaykie, and Carson; Daddy, Mommy, and Noah; and Uncle Landon!
Aunt Kaykie and I had our first Mother's Day together! Look at those adorable baby boys!

Noah's Surgery

Noah had to have surgery a couple of weeks ago (in a place that he is not willing to talk about). Unfortunately, he developed a blood clot and had to be put under anesthesia again the same day! It was a sad day for all of us. We are thankful that Grammie and Uncle Landon made the trip to be with Noah (and us) as he had to endure so much at such a young age. It has been almost two weeks and he is just about healed.

Noah says thanks to his Uncle Landon for taking such good care of him pre and post surgery.
Noah looked super cute in his hospital gown!

After his 2nd surgery, he got to be wheeled out in a wagon! He was quite a king for the day. He melted all the nurses' hearts!
His 2nd surgery was somewhat of an emergency, so we forgot to bring Noah's favorite yellow lamb to wake up with after surgery. Clay and I bought Mike the Tiger for Noah in the hospital gift shop. He is named after Mike the LSU Tiger.
