Chef Noah

Noah has been quite insistent with "helping" with all the chores lately. He likes to put dirty clothes in the dryer and his toys in the trash. Last night he helped Clay by cooking hamburgers. He's actually not that bad of a cook. He just needs to grow a few feet before he can start making supper regularly!

* As a side note, Noah's daily paper from school reported that he had been talkative that day. It's quite funny to see that adjective circled about our 18 month old!

Go Purple and Gold!!

We had an LSU party at our house for the National Championship game earlier this month. Noah enjoyed all the festivities, especially playing with his baby friend, Karis. Clay made a delicious gumbo and all our Yankee friends got a taste of the good ol' South. Of course we were all pleased with the end result of the game :)

Happy New Year!

We enjoyed celebrating the New Year with grilled hamburgers! Noah is enjoying riding his tricycle. He's getting better and better at trying to pedal.

he melts my heart :)

Fun at the Children's Museum

After Christmas, Clay had to go back to work, but Noah and I stayed a few extra days visiting my family. One of those days Grammie, Carson, Uncle Landon, Noah and I went to the Children's Museum. As you can see from the pictures Noah thought he owned the place. The good news is it doesn't matter at a Children's Museum! He ran free without any reservations.

Christmas Morning

Needless to say, Noah LOVED all his new toys. (His mommy and daddy really appreciated all his new clothes :) He wasn't very interested in opening his presents, but once they were opened and batteries were installed, he had a blast!

this is the new kitchen that grammie and pops got him

Visiting Family

During the holidays, we enjoyed visiting both the Iles and Mitchell families. There were lots of parties and get-togethers during our stay. Noah enjoyed eating the yummy food and entertaining his little cousins. He also loved getting spoiled by his grandparents!

Noah's Gift to Us

Apparently, Noah was very busy this Christmas season making a present for us, complete with perfect gift wrapping. The tag read: To my Family!
*Really his teachers made this sweet gift at the Early Learning Center he goes to and wrapped it up and sent it home for us to open together! How thoughtful!

sweet baby!

Christmas at our House

Well, I'm late as usual! But I figured everyone would like to know about Noah's 2nd Christmas. Before going home to visit our families, we had our own family Christmas at our house in Fort Worth. We had a great time together as a family. Clay fried shrimp, fries and hush puppies. What a treat! Noah's first taste of lots of different fried foods. Then we let him open his presents. I didn't know it could be this much fun!
