A Big Let Down

Last night we went to our annual Astros vs. Rangers game. Clay had been pumped for weeks knowing this game was coming up. We were super excited to be taking Noah since he has been so interested in baseball lately. The boys were ready. They had their Astros gear on- Clay with his shirt and hat and Noah with his shirt and kids bat. We had our hotdogs, found our seats, and were ready for a good game. Of course, we felt the "Mitchell Curse" was over because I was present for an Astros win at the Rangers stadium last summer and the whole Mitchell clan attended an Astros win at Minute Maid Park last month. However, we were given a huge let down with a 16-8 victory for the Rangers. Clay lost his voice. Noah was sick of being frightened by the fireworks going off for every homerun that was hit by the opposing team (which was 6)that he eventually fell asleep. This picture shows the boys with their "rally caps" on, hoping for some extra runs. Needless to say, it was not the best of games :(

Noah,

As "Amercian Express" would say, this picture is priceless. I love the rally caps pose and most of all you'll have a memory for a lifetime.

Love,
