Happy 1st B-day Noah!

Noah has hit his biggest milestone yet- He turned 1 today! We took him to eat at Taco Cabana, where he got his favorite- cheese quesadillas. Then we went home and he destroyed a chocolate cake! We had so much fun with him tonight. He is such a delight!

Not just a piece of the quesadilla, but the whole thing! Our eager eater :)

Again, not just a piece....
Does he like chocolate? Apparently so!
Yea for Noah- Our big 1 year old boy!
Here is a video of Noah seeing his cake for the first time and then just digging in. He just seemed to know exactly what to do with something he'd never seen before. I'll have more pictures after the big birthday bash on Saturday! (Please ignore the awful singing :)

Little Book Worm

Clay and Noah were reading The Tooth Book this evening. I was so surprised that are little man was sitting still that I had to snap this shot. He is such a little wiggle worm now. We do a lot of floor playing because it's the only way I can provide any affection these days!
Noah says his 3rd word as of Friday. He now says "Mama"! The word I have waited on for so long!
Tomorrow is Noah's first b-day! I will include some pictures after he destroys his cake!

Noah's Visit with the Macs

Clay's lifelong friend, Josh Mac, and his wife, Amanda, came for a visit this weekend. We enjoyed spending time and catching up with them. Noah says thanks for the fun bath toy and the cute LSU outfit!

Noah's Great PaPa

This is the last picture that was taken of Noah and PaPa. My PaPa and Noah's great-PaPa went to be with the Lord two weeks ago. He will be missed greatly by our whole family. We are encouraged to know that he is spending eternity with our gracious God. We love him and his memory lives on in our hearts!

The Cheerio Hero

Noah was a hero in the nursery yesterday. He knocked over a huge bin of Cheerios for all the babies! We couldn't clean them up fast enough, so several of the kiddos had a field day, eating their way through the pile. This picture was taken when most of the cereal was cleaned up. (Clay said he thought of putting some on the floor before Noah spilled them. It would have been easier since we had 7 babies to feed snacks to!) Also, when the other babies had enough and moved on to other things, our wonderful little eater was still eating the Cheerios by the handfuls!

Happy 4th of July!

Noah enjoyed his first 4th of July celebration! Clay grilled yummy ribs and I made a flag cake. Noah wore his "Born in the USA" shirt and had a blast!

Noah's Independence

Along with America's celebration of independence, is Noah's exclamation of his independence! He has played in his room all by himself two days in a row. It is a big relief to me when I am very busy and he really seems to enjoy it! He's discovering his own space and his own toys. We are so proud of him. He also had his first experience with feeding himself with a spoon. Well, actually, I gave him the spoon, he rejected it and dug in!

Our sweet almost-one-year-old boy!

He loved eating his messy lunch with his fingers!

I'm Lovin' It

Noah hit a major milestone at lunch today. He ate his first Happy Meal complete with chicken nuggets, apples, and apple juice! He really loved his first Mickey D's experience!

Beautiful smile :)

The coveted toy!

A Closer Look at the Human Wrecking Ball

Among Noah's many daily accomplishments, he can now drain the water in the bathtub and turn on and off the lights!! As you can see from the pictures, Noah would not be a good Jenga player!

Category 5 Noah

Noah has found a new past time. He loves to destroy everything! Our house is always in shambles. Enjoy the video of Noah's newest demolition job!

The Little Green Monster

We were in the doctor's office the other day and Noah's outfit matched one of the chairs! I had to take a picture of him sitting in the green chair with his green shirt! Well really just to show off how cute he is! This is one of his new outfits because he continues to grow, grow, grow...
